I grew up in Fannin County, received a bachelor of music degree from West Georgia College, master of education degree from North Georgia College, and an education specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Piedmont College. I have taught music, art, and drama at Blue Ridge Elementary since 2006. Previously, I have taught at Morganton, East and West Fannin, and Blue Ridge Elementary Schools beginning in 1992. My husband Randall and I have two children. We have a son Jason, who is a registered land surveyor, and a daughter Carrie, who is a registered nurse.
